Good morning. It is Wednesday, the tenth of May, 2023. It is the Orthodox holiday of Midfeast. The 20th century Christian theologian and resistance figure, Karl Barth, was born on this day in 1886. And the great master Hokusai, creator of the ukiyo-e Great Wave off Kanagawa, and many others, died on this day in 1849.
